Malico Highland Farmers Agriculture Cooperative Receives Certificate of Registration from CDA Region 1

The Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) Region 1 officially released the Certificate of Registration to the Malico Highland Farmers Agriculture Cooperative of Malico, San Nicolas, Pangasinan, marking a significant milestone for the local farming community.

The certificate was formally awarded under the leadership of CDA Region 1 Regional Director, Atty. Frederick Joe N. Robles. He was joined by Ms. Mylene Mazo, Acting Senior CDS of CRITS, together with the Registration Section personnel who guided the cooperative throughout the registration process.

During the activity, Director Robles delivered a short but meaningful message emphasizing the cooperative’s roles and responsibilities, business opportunities and best practices in managing their organization.

After the awarding ceremony, the CDA team conducted a Post-Registration Orientation. The session focused on where the cooperative needs to register and the necessary permits they must secure to operate properly and legally. Members were provided with practical guidance to ensure smooth coordination with the concerned government offices.

The discussion was open and engaging, giving members the opportunity to raise questions and gain clearer guidance on how to move forward together as a newly registered cooperative. With their certificate officially released and proper guidance provided, the Malico Highland Farmers Agriculture Cooperative is now ready to begin its journey – united, informed, and committed to serving its members and uplifting the farming community of Malico.
