CDA XI Participates in Committee of the Whole Meeting at the Sangguniang Panlalawigan

On June 18, 2026, a Committee of the Whole Meeting was conducted at the Sangguniang Panlalawigan in Tagum City, beginning at around 10:00 AM, in relation to the matter involving the alleged illegal selling of lands associated with the San Isidro-Libertad-San Remegio Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Cooperative.

The meeting was attended by concerned LGU officials and key representatives from various government agencies relevant to the matter. It served as a venue for the concerned offices and stakeholders to present their respective roles, perspectives, and actions taken in relation to the issue raised.

During the proceedings, the invited resource persons from the different agencies were given the opportunity to discuss their respective positions and actions undertaken based on their mandates. Among them was Ms. Jambalaya G. Maceda, Cooperatives Development Specialist, who represented CDA Region XI on behalf of Regional Director Glenn S. Garcia.

The parties involved in the matter were likewise given the opportunity to speak and share their side during the meeting. The proceedings provided a venue for clarifications, coordination, and discussion among the concerned stakeholders and offices. Through its participation, CDA Region XI reaffirmed its commitment to fulfilling its mandate and to cooperating with other concerned agencies and authorities in matters affecting cooperatives, within the bounds of its jurisdiction and functions.###
