CDA Facilitates Preliminary Conference in Cooperative Dispute

On 25 June 2026, a Preliminary Conference was conducted at the CDA XI Hearing Room involving a dispute between two cooperatives, as part of adjudication procedure.

The proceedings were presided over by Atty. Joana Marie Mandac of the CDA Adjudication Division, with the presence of Atty. James Fernandez, Officer-in-Charge, Adjudication Division, together with Mr. Jerome Gatus and Mr. James Mico Fernandez, Legal Staff of the Adjudication Division. The conference was likewise assisted by Ms. Jambalaya Maceda, Legal Staff of CDA Region XI.

The preliminary conference proceeded with both parties and their respective legal counsels in attendance. During the proceedings, the parties mutually agreed to subsequently engage in a dialogue to be facilitated by CDA Region XI, with the aim of promoting constructive communication and exploring an amicable resolution of the matter.
