CDA Region XI Extends Support in NHA People’s Caravan at New Bataan, Davao de Oro

The Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) Region XI Extension Office had the honor of participating in the National Housing Authority (NHA) People’s Caravan held on 11 September 2025 in New Bataan, Davao de Oro. The activity successfully served an estimated 1,500 constituents of the municipality through the joint efforts of the NHA, partner government agencies, local government units, and other stakeholders.

The caravan was spearheaded by the NHA under the leadership of Regional Manager Engr. Shariffuddin I. Nami and District Manager Gerold P. Namoc, with the active participation of various national line agencies that extended their frontline services to the residents of New Bataan.

As part of its mandate, the CDA Region XI Extension Office extended technical assistance and facilitated a Pre-Registration Seminar (PRS) for groups aspiring to establish cooperatives. The seminar provided essential orientation on cooperative principles, values, organizational processes, and legal requirements, thereby preparing prospective members for the formal registration of their respective cooperatives.

The CDA Region XI acknowledges that the success of the caravan was made possible through the spirit of collaboration among participating agencies and stakeholders, as well as the active involvement of the constituents of New Bataan. The Authority assures its continuing commitment to enhance service delivery and strengthen its engagement in future endeavors.

The NHA People’s Caravan exemplifies the government’s collective efforts to bring public service closer to the people.
