CDA XI Inks MOU with DA XI on F2C2 program

DAVAO CITY – On 13 October 2022, the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) Region 11 and Department of Agriculture (DA) Regional Office 11 has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the capacity building of Farmers Cooperatives and Associations (FCA) who are beneficiaries of DA’s Farms and Fisheries Clustering and Consolidation (F2C2) program.

The partnership is aimed at empowering FCAs by providing technical skills training through CDA in order to prepare them for F2C2’s Cluster Development Plans and the establishment of market facilitation and linkages.

**CDA-DA Partnership MOU Signing.** CDA Regional Director Ruben L. Cunanan (2 nd from right) and DA Regional Director Abel James I. Monteagudo (4 th from left) signed the MOU between CDA and DA which was witnessed by CDA Assistant Secretaries Virgilio Lazaga (center) and Adulsalam Guinomla (3 rd from right) at the Provincial Cooperative Union – Davao, Tagum City Davao del Norte on 13 October 2022.

The first batch of F2C2 beneficiaries received their Leadership and Management Skills training through CDA Regional Office 11’s Cooperative Research, Information, and Training Section (CRITS) on 12-14 October 2022 at Digos City and on 26-28 October 2022 at Davao City. These trainings were organized by the DA Regional Office 11 in accordance to the MOU.
