RMC School of Law Student Interns Provide Legal Assistance to Cooperative Members
Davao City, Philippines – Law Student Interns (LSPs) from the Rizal Memorial Colleges (RMC) School of Law, namely Erico Cole and Glory Dee Romo, extended legal assistance to members of a local cooperative today, August 11, 2025, as part of the school’s student practice rule.
With supervision from a licensed attorney, the student interns provided consultations, clarified legal jargon, and helped cooperative members better understand their rights and obligations under the law. The activity also gave the interns practical experience in client interaction and community service.
The internship program is part of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the CDA and Rizal Memorial Colleges (RMC) School of Law under the CDA Legal Awareness Program (CLAP), aimed at providing law students with practical training in cooperative law and legal processes.
