CDA XII collaborates with DA XII in conducting PRS

The Cooperative Development Authority-Kidapawan Extension Office (CDA-KEO), in collaboration with the Department of Agriculture Regional Office and the Barangay Local Government Unit, conducted a Pre-Registration Seminar (PRS) on August 28, 2025. The activity was held for the farmer-beneficiaries who are members of the “I Love Tampakan Association” in the area.

Special attention was given to the fact that the participants are residents of geographically isolated and disadvantaged areas (GIDAs) identified by the National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC). Through this initiative, the government underscores its commitment by providing them access to livelihood opportunities, collective enterprises, and sustainable development.

The farmer-beneficiaries expressed their appreciation for the seminar, noting that it strengthened their knowledge and confidence in establishing their cooperative. With continued support from the DA and other partner agencies, the I Love Tampakan Farmers Association is expected to evolve into a viable cooperative that will uplift the welfare of its members and contribute to lasting peace and progress in the community.
