CDA Region XIII, led by Regional Director Monatao Honeya R. Alawi, PhD, formalized a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) during the Agrarian Reform Stakeholders Summit held on June 1, 2026, at the Municipal Gymnasium, Poblacion, Buenavista, Agusan del Norte.

The partnership underscores a shared commitment to empowering agrarian reform communities through cooperative development, capacity-building initiatives, and strengthened inter-agency collaboration. Through this alliance, CDA and DAR aim to advance inclusive growth and contribute to a more resilient and sustainable regional economy.

The summit was also graced by DAR Secretary Conrado M. Estrella III, who emphasized the vital role of agriculture in nation-building and encouraged stakeholders to continue supporting the development of the agricultural sector.
