CDA Caraga Holds Ceremonial Check Turnover for ImeeSolusyon Batch 2

The Cooperative Development Authority Caraga (CDA Caraga) successfully conducted the Ceremonial Check Turnover for the second batch of beneficiaries under the Sa Kooperatiba ImeeSolusyon Financial Assistance Program on January 16, 2026, at the CDA Conference Room in Butuan City.

The activity formed part of CDA Caraga’s continuing initiatives to strengthen cooperatives through direct financial assistance aimed at enhancing operational capacity, improving service delivery, and supporting sustainable livelihood and transport-related programs. Each beneficiary cooperative was represented by two duly designated officers during the activity.

The program opened with an introduction and orientation led by Ms. Demelyne B. Gabales, Senior Cooperative Development Specialist (Sr. CDS) of the Cooperative Project Development and Assistance Section (CPDAS). The orientation focused on the objectives of the ImeeSolusyon Program, the proper utilization of the financial assistance, and the liquidation and reporting requirements to ensure transparency and accountability among recipient cooperatives.

A welcome message was delivered by CDA Caraga Regional Director Monatao Honeya R. Alawi, PhD, who underscored the importance of responsible fund management and emphasized the role of cooperatives as vital partners in local economic development.

The ceremonial release of checks followed, officially turning over financial assistance to the Batch 2 beneficiary cooperatives, namely:

  • Dugmanon Coconut Farmers Agriculture Cooperative (DUCOFACO)
  • San Isidro Tapaz Agriculture Cooperative
  • Agusan Sur Transport Service Cooperative (AGSURTRANSCO)
  • Butuan Multicab Operators Transport Service Cooperative (BUMOTSCO)
  • Diamond Transport Service Cooperative (DATSCO)
  • New Nazareth Multipurpose Cooperative (unable to attend due to adverse weather conditions; check received by the assigned CDS)
  • Ruben Ecleo Sr. Multipurpose Cooperative (unable to attend due to adverse weather conditions; check received by the assigned CDS)
  • Cortes Multipurpose Cooperative (unable to attend due to adverse weather conditions; check received by the assigned CDS)
  • Fishermen Cooperative of Consolacion (FISH COOP) – (unable to attend due to adverse weather conditions; check received by the assigned CDS)

Messages of appreciation were shared by representatives of the beneficiary cooperatives, who expressed gratitude for the government’s continued support and affirmed their commitment to utilizing the financial assistance properly and for its intended purposes. The activity concluded with a fellowship gathering, fostering camaraderie and strengthening collaboration among CDA officials and cooperative leaders.

The first batch of ImeeSolusyon financial assistance was earlier released on October 6, 2025, during the Cooperative Month Celebration: Kick-Off 2025 with the Pag-Abot Program Orientation at Robinsons Place, Butuan City, benefitting the following cooperatives:

An additional release under Batch 1 was made on December 19, 2026, benefitting the Cagdianao Transport Service Cooperative (CATSCO).

Through the Sa Kooperatiba ImeeSolusyon Program, CDA Caraga continues to demonstrate its commitment to empowering cooperatives and advancing inclusive and sustainable development across the region.
