The Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) – Caraga successfully conducted the Cooperative Month Culmination Program 2025 and Orientation on Government Programs and Services for Coconut Farmers Cooperatives (CFCs) and Coconut Farmers Organizations (CFOs) on October 29, 2025, at the LMX Convention Center, Butuan City.
The event served as the highlight of the Cooperative Month Celebration, held annually every October pursuant to Republic Act No. 11502, which recognizes the vital role of cooperatives in promoting social justice, economic development, and people empowerment.

The activity gathered cooperative leaders, government representatives, and other stakeholders from Butuan City and Agusan del Norte to commemorate the achievements of the cooperative movement in the region and to reinforce partnerships that promote inclusive growth and sustainability.
To kick off the day’s activities, participants enthusiastically joined the Zumba Craze, which fostered camaraderie, health, and wellness among attendees. This was followed by a series of orientation sessions facilitated by partner agencies, including the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR), Enhanced Partnership Against Hunger and Poverty (EPAHP), Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), and the Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA). Each agency presented relevant programs and services designed to support and empower Coconut Farmers Cooperatives and Organizations.
Participants attentively listened to the presentations, gaining valuable insights into enterprise development, livelihood opportunities, and government support mechanisms that could help strengthen their cooperatives.
The event concluded successfully, with participants expressing gratitude for the meaningful learning experience and the opportunity to connect with fellow cooperators and government partners. The CDA-Caraga emphasized that the culmination program signifies not only the conclusion of the Cooperative Month celebration but also the continuing partnership and shared commitment to cooperative development and empowerment in the region.
Indeed, the Cooperative Month Culmination Program 2025 was a resounding success—a testament to the unity, cooperation, and dedication of the cooperative sector in Caraga.
