As part of its commitment to ensuring the successful implementation of the CDA Building Project, the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA), in partnership with the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), Jodel Construction, and ED1son Construction, conducted an ocular inspection of the ongoing DPWH-funded CDA Building on June 10, 2026. The activity was attended by CDA Deputy Administrator Atty. Mona Liza Arriba-Juarez, CDA Caraga Regional Director Dr. Monatao Honeya R. Alawi, CDA Infrastructure Designate Engr. Zaldy A. Bermejo, personnel from CDA Regional Office XIII, and representatives from DPWH and the project contractors.

The inspection served as an important mechanism for assessing construction progress, ensuring compliance with approved plans and quality standards, and identifying measures necessary for the project’s timely completion. Following the inspection, the stakeholders convened for the 5th Regular Coordination Meeting to discuss project accomplishments, address emerging concerns, and review the integration of the CDA-funded second-floor development with the ongoing DPWH-funded structure.
The meeting reinforced the importance of continuous collaboration, effective coordination, and shared accountability among all parties involved.
This collective effort reflects the unwavering commitment of CDA, DPWH, and their construction partners to deliver a modern, functional, and sustainable facility that will strengthen the agency’s capacity to serve cooperatives and advance cooperative development in the Caraga Region. Through strong partnership and proactive engagement, the CDA Building Project continues to move steadily toward its successful completion.
