The regional director of Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) Region XIII, Dr. Monatao Honeya R. Alawi, made a courtesy visit to the Honorable Mayor of Butuan City, Atty. Lawrence Lemuel H. Fortun at the City Hall on August 19, 2025.

The visit aimed to strengthen the collaboration between CDA and the local government unit (LGU). It provided a venue for Dr. Alawi to introduce the agency and its programs. She highlighted the importance of partnership with the LGU to effectively implement the programs for the greater good of its public and Butuanons.

Mayor Fortun welcomed the partnership and expressed his full support and commitment in working closely with the CDA.

RD Alawi affirmed CDA’s dedication to supporting the city’s development goals.
