In line with its commitment to quality and continual improvement, CDA Region XIII Extension Office welcomed the Internal Quality Audit (IQA) Team from Region X for a two-day assessment of its Quality Management System (QMS) against the requirements of ISO 9001:2015. The audit was conducted on June 9-10, 2026, at the CDA Regional Office, 3rd Floor, Balibrea Building, Pili Drive, Butuan City.

The audit team from Region X, led by Mr. Jose Renante L. Deloso, Jr., was joined by fellow auditors Ms. Sarah Mae T. Bestudio, Ms. Melanie U. Famor, Mr. Justin G. Uriarte, and Mr. Gian Erco W. Cayanong as an observer. Atty. Mona Liza P. Arriba-Juarez, Deputy Administrator of the General Administration and Support Service (GASS), also joined the team as an observer.

In her welcome message during the opening meeting, Regional Director Dr. Monatao Honeya R. Alawi expressed her appreciation to the IQA Team and underscored the importance of the audit in sustaining the organization’s commitment to quality and continuous improvement.

The audit served as an opportunity to evaluate the effectiveness of the office’s processes, ensure compliance with established quality standards, and identify areas for improvement in support of organizational excellence and service delivery.

The audit results were presented by the IQA team on June 10, 2026, during the exit conference. The presentation highlighted the audit findings, identified opportunities for improvement, and recognized areas of best practice. Atty. Mona Liza P. Arriba-Juarez expressed her appreciation for the audit process, recognizing its value in assessing process effectiveness and ensuring compliance with quality standards.

In closing, RD Dr. Monatao Honeya R. Alawi extended her appreciation to the IQA Team and all personnel involved for their cooperation and commitment throughout the audit. She reaffirmed Region XIII Extension Office’s commitment to sustaining a culture of quality, enhancing operational performance, and delivering efficient and responsive services to its stakeholders.
