The atmosphere was vibrant, and spirits were high as Region 02 successfully concluded its month-long Regional Cooperative Month Celebration with a grand finale at the FLDy Coliseum, Cauayan City, Isabela, on October 29, 2025.
This year’s observance excelled mere recognition; it stood as a true festival of unity, economic empowerment, and community spirit, honoring the strong cooperative sector that drives the region’s prosperity.
While Cooperative Month is a nationwide mandate, in Region 02, it resounded as a deep celebration of resilience. This year’s theme, “Cooperatives United in Purpose and Action, Sharing Prosperity to Build a Better World,” served as the guiding principle throughout the activities.
The event likewise provided a significant occasion to recognize exemplary cooperative initiatives, encourage knowledge sharing, and reinforce the unity among cooperative leaders, members, and stakeholders from across the region.
The Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) Region II Extension Office, in dedicated partnership with the Regional Cooperative Development Council (RCDC), composed a dynamic and engaging celebration. The successful culmination gathered cooperative members from all participating areas: the Provinces of Cagayan, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Isabela, and the City of Santiago.
The celebration provided a powerful testament to the unity, resilience, and growth of the cooperative movement, proving that in Region 02, the spirit of cooperation is truly a reason to celebrate.
