Solano, Nueva Vizcaya – – The Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) Region 02 Extension Office successfully conducted its first CSF Premier Series on July 29, 2026, featuring a live interview with the Nueva Vizcaya Credit Surety Fund Cooperative (NVCSFC) in Solano, Nueva Vizcaya. The interview was broadcast live via Zoom at 10:00 a.m., bringing together representatives from all CDA Regional Offices and Credit Surety Fund (CSF) cooperatives nationwide. The inaugural episode highlighted the remarkable journey of the Nueva Vizcaya Credit Surety Fund Cooperative, one of the country’s most successful CSF cooperatives, and its significant contributions to improving access to financial support for cooperatives and Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).

The initiative served as a platform to showcase the best practices and accomplishments of the Nueva Vizcaya Credit Surety Fund Cooperative, demonstrating how the Credit Surety Fund Program has helped strengthen cooperatives and expand financing opportunities for MSMEs, thereby contributing to local economic growth and development.

The program was hosted by Ms. Elmira E. Reyes, Senior Cooperatives Development Specialist of the CSF Section, CDA Region 02. CDA Region 02 Regional Director Atty. Jovilyn M. Gaffud-Marquez delivered the opening message, expressing her support for the continued growth and strengthening of the Credit Surety Fund Program and underscoring its vital role in promoting financial inclusion and cooperative development.

Messages of support were also delivered by Governor Jose V. Gambito, CDA Administrator Dr. Emmanuel M. Santiaguel, and Assistant Secretary Luz H. Yringco, who recognized the Nueva Vizcaya Credit Surety Fund Cooperative for its positive impact in helping cooperatives and MSMEs overcome financial challenges while fostering inclusive economic development in their communities.

A solidarity message was likewise delivered by Undersecretary Alexander B. Raquepo, who reaffirmed his support for the continued implementation of the Credit Surety Fund Program and its mission of empowering MSMEs through improved access to financing.
Meanwhile, Mr. Recto A. Transfiguracion, Chief Cooperatives Development Specialist of the Technical Assistance Division–Credit Surety Fund (TAD-CSF) Service, presented the rationale of the activity. He emphasized the importance of recognizing the milestones and achievements of the Nueva Vizcaya Credit Surety Fund Cooperative and sharing its success story to inspire other CSF cooperatives and stakeholders across the country.

The inaugural CSF Premier Series underscored the transformative impact of the Credit Surety Fund Program by demonstrating how a cooperative can grow from humble beginnings into a catalyst for economic opportunity. Through the inspiring experience of the Nueva Vizcaya Credit Surety Fund Cooperative, the activity reinforced the value of cooperation, strong partnerships, and collective commitment in advancing financial inclusion, empowering MSMEs, and promoting sustainable and inclusive economic growth.
