Cabatuan, Isabela (CDA) – – The Municipal Cooperative Development Council (MCDC) of Cabatuan, Isabela, recently held a successful quarterly meeting and a significant re-organization of the council with the support of the Municipal Cooperative Office (MCO), Provincial Cooperative, Livelihood and Enterprise Development Office (PCLEDO), and the Cooperative Development Authority Region II Extension Office.

Members of the council, representing various cooperatives, and other members of the council from across the municipality, were present and actively participated in a detailed discussion. The agenda focused on addressing pressing issues and concerns that are vital to the continued growth and improvement of the cooperative sector within their community.

The meeting highlighted the MCDC’s commitment to fostering a stronger and more vibrant cooperative movement. The re-organization is expected to streamline the council’s operations and ensure it is well-positioned to serve the needs of its member cooperatives effectively.

This gathering is a testament to the strong partnership between the MCDC, MCO and other stakeholders, working together to empower local cooperatives as key drivers of economic development and community self-reliance in Cabatuan, Isabela.
