The Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) recently held its National Gawad Parangal Awards Ceremony on October 24, 2025 at Novotel Manila, Araneta City, Cubao, Quezon City, recognizing outstanding cooperatives across the country for excellence, innovation, and meaningful contributions to community development.
Among the shining awardees was the Nueva Vizcaya Credit Surety Fund Cooperative (NVCSFC), a proud representative of the cooperative movement in Region 02. The NVCSFC was honored as a 2nd Place Outstanding CSF Gawad Parangal Awardee this year, following two consecutive years as an Outstanding CSF Gawad Parangal Awardee.
The Nueva Vizcaya CSF Cooperative’s consistent recognition is a testament to its unwavering commitment to empowering micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and cooperatives through accessible financing. The cooperative provides a vital Surety Cover for the loans of qualified entrepreneurs and cooperatives.
Their success is built on strong partnerships with the Provincial Local Government Unit (PLGU), Government Financial Institutions (GFI), the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), and the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA).
