Tuguegarao City, Cagayan – – The Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) Region 2 Extension Office conducted a Stress Management Training on September 29, 2025, as part of its commitment to support the health and well-being of its staff. This program aimed to help employees better understand the causes and effects of stress, introduce practical coping techniques, and emphasize the importance of wellness maintaining a productive work environment.

The event formally opened with an invocation and the singing of the National Anthem, followed by the recitation of key institutional pledges: the Panunumpa ng Katapatan sa Watawat ng Pilipinas, the Panunumpa ng Lingkod Bayan, the Bagong Pilipinas Pledge, and the Bagong Pilipinas Hymn.

Atty. Nita Doreen L. Maestre-Tabbu, OIC-Supervising CDS, delivered the welcome remark, highlighting that employee wellness is crucial to sustaining productivity and efficiency in government service.

The main session was led by Mr. Jonas U. Dupo, RN. He shared expert guidance on stress awareness, coping mechanisms, and a set of actionable strategies to equip CDA personnel with tools to effectively manage professional challenges. The training sought to foster resilience among the staff, ultimately building a stronger and more adaptable team.

Participants expressed appreciation for the program, valuing the opportunity to acquire practical methods for stress management. The event reinforced a vital message: while stress is an inevitable part of life, it can be effectively managed through increased awareness, personal resilience, and healthy practices.
