CDA, IIRD, and DA Unite for a Stronger Cooperative Future

City of San Fernando, Pampanga  — Key partners from the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA), Department of Agriculture (DA), and the Institute of International Rural Development (IIRD), came together for a power-packed strategic planning session to sharpen the direction for farmers’ organizations and cooperatives in the region on November 28, 2025 at the CDA Region III Extension Office.

IIRD’s Dr. Jang Heo and team set the tone with the mission and training framework, while the CDA group led by RD Marieta P. Hwang and ARD Carolina M. Miguel mapped out the practical roadmap for cooperative growth. The DA’s Matthew Mark Capillo ensured alignment with national agricultural priorities.

The session focused on crafting long-term strategies, timelines (2025-2029), and training needs, culminating in a validated plan ready for action.

A united effort, a clearer vision, and a stronger push toward empowering rural communities through vibrant cooperatives.

For Cooperative, we partner, we share.
