The 2026 Bauan Municipal Cooperative Development Council (MCDC) Youth Camp Experience, in collaboration with Youth on Missions Philippines, Inc., with the theme “Find Your Path, Discover More,” was successfully conducted on April 27–28, 2026 at the Bauan Doctors Multipurpose Cooperative in Bauan, Batangas. A total of 39 young participants, aged 12–19, attended the two-day learning sessions, representing ten (10) active primary cooperatives in the municipality.

The camp aimed to inspire and awaken the youth’s interest in cooperativism, nationalism, patriotism, HIV awareness, career guidance and responsible citizenship.

The activity featured esteemed resource persons, including 2LT Junrey Castillo of the Philippine Army; Ms. Zena Grace Adducul of Bauan Technical Integrated High School; Ms. Elizabeth Arago of the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) Region IV-A Batangas Field Office; and Mr. Rhyan Evangelista of Bauan Doctors Multipurpose Cooperative.

On the second day, participants engaged in discussions on entrepreneurship and mental health, further equipping them with practical knowledge and essential life skills. The sessions were facilitated by Mr. Nathaniel Culiat and Ms. Maria Theresa Gernale of the Provincial Cooperative and Livelihood Enterprise Development Office (PCLEDO) and Ms. Czarina Contreras of MedGrocer.

To create a lively and engaging atmosphere, participants embraced a bohemian-themed dress code, complemented by venue decorations reflecting the same motif, adding color and vibrancy to the overall experience. Various indoor activities and games were also conducted to foster camaraderie and active participation among the youth.

The event concluded with the awarding of certificates of participation, graced by the presence of the Municipal Mayor and other officials from the Bauan Local Government Unit and Bauan MCDC.
