“Kabataan Para sa Kaunlaran” was the theme of the Youth Forum held on May 27, 2026, at the Rosario Gymnasium, Municipal Hall of Rosario, Batangas.

The activity gathered a total of 57 youth participants from primary cooperatives in Batangas Province District IV, represented as follows: Ibaan – 10 participants, Padre Garcia – 4 participants, San Jose – 2 participants, Taysan – 15 participants, and Rosario – 26 participants.

The forum featured discussions on cooperative organization and the importance of youth engagement in agriculture, emphasizing the vital role of young people in community development and nation-building. The event was initiated by Board Member Marcus Mendoza in collaboration with Youth on Mission, a non-government organization dedicated to youth empowerment, the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) Batangas Field Office, Cooperative Union of Batangas and the Rosario Municipal Cooperative Development Office.

In addition to the lecture sessions, participants actively engaged in group activities and presentations, which enhanced learning, teamwork, and leadership skills. Officers of the Malalim Laboratory Cooperative served as program hosts and facilitated the conduct of the group activities, contributing significantly to the success of the event.

The forum provided an avenue for young cooperative members to deepen their understanding of cooperativism, appreciate the opportunities available in agriculture, and strengthen their commitment to becoming active contributors to their communities and organizations.
