CDA MIMAROPA CONDUCTS MEETING, ELECTION, AND OATH-TAKING OF EAU CLUSTER OFFICERS

In line with the implementation of Memorandum Circular No. 2020-28 and the continuing strengthening of the cooperative sector, the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) MIMAROPA successfully conducted the Meeting, Election, and Oath-Taking of Officers of the Education, Advocacy and Union (EAU) Cluster today via Zoom platform from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

The activity gathered representatives from cooperatives under the EAU Cluster across the MIMAROPA Region to discuss the significance of clustering, organizational strengthening, and the vital role of Regional Clustered Organizations (RCOs) in advancing the cooperative movement.

The program formally opened with welcome remarks from the Regional Director of CDA MIMAROPA, emphasizing the importance of unity, collaboration, and active participation among cooperatives in promoting inclusive and sustainable development within the region.

A highlight of the activity was the inspirational message delivered by Assistant Secretary Abdulsalam “ASEC Sam” Guinomla, Head of the EAU Cluster, who encouraged the participants to remain committed to the principles of cooperation, leadership, and service. He likewise underscored the importance of strengthening cooperative alliances and sectoral representation to further empower the cooperative movement nationwide.

Following the presentation of election guidelines pursuant to MC 2020-28, the participants proceeded with the election of officers for the EAU Cluster. The newly elected officers officially accepted their responsibilities and subsequently took their oath of office officiated by Assistant Secretary Abdulsalam “ASEC Sam” Guinomla, signifying their commitment to uphold the mandate and objectives of the cluster.

The activity concluded with discussions on future plans, programs, and collaborative initiatives aimed at strengthening coordination, advocacy, and partnership among EAU member cooperatives in the MIMAROPA Region.

Through this undertaking, CDA MIMAROPA reaffirms its commitment to fostering stronger cooperative organizations and empowering sectoral clusters toward a more united and progressive cooperative movement.
