Pursuant to the letter received from the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) dated September 12, 2025, on the issuance of Department Administrative Order (DAO) No. 25-12, Series of 2025, and in accordance with Republic Act No. 11967 or the Internet Transactions Act of 2023, all online merchants, e-retailers, e-marketplaces, and digital platforms are required to register for the Philippine Trustmark through the official portal:

The said directive is mandatory and covers cooperatives engaged in e-commerce activities, particularly those on-boarded in the CoopBiz e-Marketplace platform.
Applications must be submitted not later than 30 September 2025.

> Registration is required for both Philippine-based and foreign enterprises accessing the Philippine market.
> The initial application fee of ₱1,000.00 is waived for DTI-registered Barangay Micro Business Enterprises (BMBEs).
> Online merchants selling regulated goods or services must submit the appropriate government-issued licenses or permits.
