In celebration of the 2025 Cooperative Month carrying the theme “United in Purpose and Action, Sharing Prosperity to Build a Better World,” the Municipal Cooperative Development Council (MCDC) of Sipocot, in partnership with the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Sipocot, spearheaded a Coastal Clean-Up Drive at Barangay Anib, Sipocot, Camarines Sur on October 30, 2025.

The 2025 Coastal Clean-Up Drive activity, led by the Sipocot Farmers and Fisherfolks Agriculture Cooperative (SIFFACO), gathered a total of 108 officers and members from various MCDC-affiliated cooperatives who actively participated in the clean-up initiative. The event aimed to promote environmental stewardship, coastal resource protection, and collective community action toward a cleaner and safer environment.

Through this initiative, the MCDC of Sipocot continues to demonstrate the cooperative sector’s commitment not only to economic development but also to sustainable and environmentally responsible practices that benefit both the people and the planet.
