The Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) gladly participated in the NHA People’s Caravan; an initiative aimed at providing comprehensive services to NHA project beneficiaries. Held under the theme β€œSerbisyong Dala ay Pag-asa,” which brought together various partner agencies to provide essential services and support to the residents of NHA housing communities. The event took place on July 25, 2024, at the Multipurpose Covered Court, Basey Pointe, Brgy. Basey, Tingib. Samar.

The event highlighted the signing of the Pledge of commitment in which representatives from each of the 27 partner agencies in attendance, together with their heads, took part.Β  The CDA involvement in the NHA People’s Caravan highlighted its ongoing commitment to fostering cooperative development and providing economic opportunities for communities. By joining forces with other government agencies, the CDA aimed to extend its reach and impact, ensuring that the cooperative principles and benefits are accessible to all, especially to the marginalized society.

In order to highlight each partner agency’s services, the organizers set up booths for them throughout the event. For CDA, this included providing IEC materials and conducting Basic Orientation.

The CDA was just one of the almost 30 partner agencies that came together to make the NHA People’s Caravan a resounding success. Other participating agencies included Basey LGU, Province of Samar, DOH, DSWD, TESDA, PSA, SSS, Pag-Ibig, DOST, DMW, PNP, AFP, DSWD, DOLE, Philippine Red Cross, DA, DAR, LTO, PAO, OWWA, PESO, DTI, DICT, BFAR, and Philhealth. Together, this agency provided a wide range of services toΒ  NHA beneficiaries.

The collaborative effort of these agencies underscored the event’s theme, β€œSerbisyong Dala ay Pag-asa”, by delivering hope and essential services to the residents. The unified approach ensured that the beneficiaries had access to a comprehensive set of services. NHA Regional Manager, Engr. Constancio G.
