La Trinidad, Benguet, December 19, 2025 – The Cooperative Development Authority – Cordillera Administrative Region (CDA–CAR) confirms the renewal of accreditation of Mr. Salvador I. Pablo, Cooperative External Auditor (CEA) for the second term.

Administered by the CDA-CAR Acting Regional Director, Ms. Felicidad R. Cenon, PhD., the oath taking marks the culmination of a rigorous re-accreditation process that ensures only competent and qualified auditors are recognized to serve the cooperative sector.

In her message, the Acting Regional Director congratulated the renewed CEA and offered words of encouragement, emphasizing the importance of continuous adherence to established rules and guidelines. She further encouraged the auditor to maximize his professional expertise and efforts in better serving cooperatives, underscoring the vital role of CEAs in strengthening financial discipline, transparency, and good governance across the sector.
To note, accredited CEAs play a critical role in enhancing cooperative operations by:
- Providing credible and objective financial assessments;
- Helping cooperatives comply with statutory and regulatory requirements;
- Identifying financial risks and recommending improvements;
- Strengthening member confidence through transparent reporting; and
- Supporting the sector’s long-term sustainability and growth.
Through the continued accreditation and renewal of Cooperative External Auditors, we reinforce the foundation of cooperatives as trustworthy, member-driven, and sustainable organizations.
We extend our congratulations to the renewed CEA and look forward to another term of dedicated service in advancing cooperative excellence.
