2026 CDA-NCR HANDHOLDING CARAVAN IN MALABON CITY
The Handholding Caravan in Malabon City was successfully conducted on March 19, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Penthouse, 11th Floor, Malabon City Hall. The activity was spearheaded by the Cooperative Development Authority–National Capital Region Extension Office (CDA-NCREO) in partnership with the Malabon City Local Government Unit (LGU), through the Cooperative Development Office headed by Mr. Edgardo S. Cruz and his staff, alongside representatives from ACDI MPC and Cooperative External Auditor (CEA) Mr. Carlos Samson.

The primary objective of the caravan was to provide assistance to cooperatives, ensuring their compliance with mandatory reportorial and regulatory requirements, enabling them to secure their Certificate of Compliance (COC) within the same day. Several participating cooperatives successfully completed and submitted their required reports and supporting documents, resulting in the issuance of their COCs. A notable achievement of the event was the compliance and subsequent COC issuance for the Malabon Ahon Blue Card Para sa Kababaihan Consumers Cooperative, a significant achievement that coincides with the celebration of Women’s Month.

The caravan was honored by the presence of Malabon City Mayor Jeannie Sandoval, who delivered an inspirational message. She also assured all transport cooperatives that they would receive their fuel subsidies as scheduled and directed the concerned offices to expedite the release process.

Overall, the Handholding Caravan was a success. The organizing team expressed their sincere gratitude for the unwavering support and collaboration of all partners and stakeholders who contributed to the accomplishment of the activity.
