
The Cooperative Development Authority – National Capital Region Extension Office (CDA-NCR EO), headed by Regional Director Pedro T. Defensor, Jr., in coordination with and the Taguig Cooperative Development Office, led by Ms. Bing Juarez successfully conducted the 2026 Enhanced Cooperative Compliance Handholding Caravan. This is in partnership with ACDI Multi-Purpose Cooperative, represented by Executive Vice-President for Administration, Ms. Esperanza G. Cauyan, CPA; Taguig City Cooperative Development Council (TCCDC) Officers; Cooperative Union of Taguig and Pateros (COUNTPA), represented by CEO, Mr. Russell B. Baldomar; and Union of Defense and Public Safety Cooperatives (UDPSC), represented by General Manager, Ms. Salud T. Pasicolan. The aim is to facilitate and provide full assistance and support to the One-Stop-Shop to expedite the Same-Day Issuance of Certificate of Compliance (COC) at Taguig City University (TCU) Auditorium, Gen. Santos Avenue, Central Bicutan, Taguig City. It was also attended and participated in by Taguig and Pateros assigned CDS II, Marilou M. Valencia.

In attendance were 151 cooperative members from 55 Taguig and Pateros Cooperatives. Several CDA-NCR employees, along with the ACDI Team of bookkeepers, accountants and accredited Cooperative External Auditors (Ms. Bernadeth N. Balagot, Mr. Joel Mondido and Jefrey Liparto), manned the different stations (Verification, Evaluation, Payment and Issuance).

On the other hand, the participating Cooperatives expressed their gratitude for the assistance and support provided by the Taguig CDO, CDA-NCR, Unions and ACDI Multipurpose Cooperative.

The event concluded with the awarding of Certificates of Appreciation, Presentation of Tokens of Appreciation and the Closing Remarks, delivered by the Head of the Taguig CDO, Ms. Bing Juarez.

The Handholding Caravan Team specifically extended their thanks and appreciation to the Taguig City LGU/CDO, headed by Ms. Bing Juarez and Team TCDO (Ely, Aira, Bree, Jhanet, Mhon, Pervi, Jay-R, Josie, Carlo, Robin, and Ranchel) for generously providing the venue, internet connectivity and food during the caravan.
