General Assembly of Metro Manila Association of Cooperative Development Officers (MEMACDO)

On March 13, 2026, the Taguig City Cooperative Development Office (CDO), headed by Ms. Lecira V. Juarez, hosted the General Assembly and Election of Officers for the Metro Manila Association of Cooperative Development Officers (MEMACDO) / League of Cooperative Development Officers of the Philippines NCR Chapter. Held at the 4th Floor Taguig LEAP Center, the event was graced by honored guests including Regional Director Pedro T. Defensor, Jr. of the CDA-NCR Extension Office; ASec. Elizabeth N. Lopez De Leon, Assistant Secretary for Community Participation and DILG representative to the Cooperative Development Authority Board; City Mayor Maria Laarni L. Cayetano; and Councilor Carlito M. Ogalinola, Chairperson of the Committee on Cooperatives. All esteemed guests delivered individual messages to the CDOs.  

The program continued with the Awarding of Plaque of Leadership Recognition to the Outgoing Officers from the Taguig City Local Government Unit (LGU) through the Taguig City CDO. Following this, Mr. Defensor delivered a presentation on the State of the NCR Cooperatives Statistics and the CDA Development Agenda 2026. The session concluded with Ms. Lecira V. Juarez’s Leadership Training Module, entitled “Enhancing Leadership: Enabling CDOs.”

The General Assembly ended with the election of the following:
