Makati Cooperatives Achieve Key Compliance Milestones at CDA Handholding Caravan and Forum

The Cooperative Development Authority-NCR (CDA-NCR), in collaboration with the Makati City Cooperative Development Office (CDO), the Union of Primary Cooperatives in Makati City (UPCM), and the ACDI Multipurpose Cooperative, successfully held the CDA Handholding Caravan and Compliance Forum for Makati City Cooperatives on March 26, 2026. The caravan served as a one-stop-shop that delivered government support directly to local cooperatives, it also ensured their smooth operation and adherence to all necessary compliance. 

A significant outcome of the event was the official issuance of eleven (11) Certificates of Compliance (COC) to Makati City cooperatives. The successful caravan proved how much we can achieve when we all work together. The collaborative effort among CDA-NCR, the City of Makati, UPCM, and ACDI Multipurpose Cooperative created a stronger and more reliable cooperative sector. It also showed a shared commitment to make cooperatives in Makati stronger and better for their members. We look forward to sustained collaboration in the pursuit of cooperative empowerment.
