City Cooperative Development Council as mandated by Ra 11364 was finally organized.   The CDA-NCR, in collaboration with Taguig Cooperative Development Office, undertakes the organizational meeting of the City Cooperative Development Council for the City of Taguig.  This is in compliance with CDA-Memorandum Circular No. 2022-03 entitled “Guidelines on the Structure, Organization and Operation of Cooperative Development Councils (CDCs)”.

The establishment of CCDC will be a mechanism for collective collaboration, consultation, and coordination for a vibrant cooperative sector.  It is the venue for bringing updates on the state of cooperatives in the city and CDO programs and initiatives including plans and program interventions.

Attended by 80 chairpersons and/or its representatives from 45 cooperatives, Heads of Local Government Offices with cooperative programs, Congressional representative from District 1 and the National Government Agencies from DTI-NCR, TESDA-Muntiparlas, DOST-Muntiparlas and DOLE-Muntiparlas.

Grateful appreciation for the Taguig City Mayor Laarni ”Lani” Cayetano, the honorary chair of the council being the Local Development Council Chair and SP Chair Committee on Cooperatives and People’s Organization Dr. Carlito Ogalinola.
