CDA WELCOMES ITS NEW CHAIRMAN AND TWO NEWLY APPOINTED MEMBERS OF THE BOARD OF ADMINISTRATORS

The Cooperative Development Authority is happy to announce the recent appointment of its three new members of the Board of Administrators, namely:
Hon. Orlando R. Ravanera, Board Chairman
Hon. Benjie S. Oliva, Administrator from Visayas
Hon. Paisal I. Cali, Administrator from Mindanao

Following their oath-taking before Secretary Cesar V. Purisima of the Department of Finance on March 19, 2015- the CDA’s mother agency, the three newly appointed Administrators immediately proceeded at the CDA Central Office where they were warmly welcomed by the officers and staff.

Chairman Ravanera, who was the Regional Director of CDA Caraga extension office for 1 year and Cagayan de Oro extension office for 12 years and once served as Acting Executive Director of the CDA during the term of former Chair Dr. Emmanuel M. Santiaguel prior to his appointment, vowed to continue working closely with the officers and staff as one family, while Administrators Oliva and Cali both gave their commitment to work for the greater benefit of the cooperatives.

With the recent appointments, the CDA now has a complete set of board with a Chairman, two Administrators from Luzon – Administrators Nelon B. Alindogan and Eulogio T. Castillo; two Administrators from Visayas – Administrators Mercedes D. Castillo and Benjie S. Oliva; and two Administrators from Mindanao – Administrators Pendatun B. Disimban and Paisal I. Cali, to lead the Agency towards the fulfillment of its goals and mandate.
