SUBJECT : AMENDMENT TO MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 2020-06, S-2020, FURTHER EXTENDING THE DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF REQUIRED REPORTS OF COOPERATIVES TO THE AUTHORITY DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC AND MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO 2020-07, S-2020, EXTENSION OF PERIOD OF VALIDITY OF CERTIFICATE OF COMPLIANCE (COC) ISSUED FOR CY 2019, S-2020
In view of the limited movement of people nationwide due to the existing imposition of community quarantine, most cooperatives were unable to submit to the Authority the required mandatory reports, resulting to a low percentage of compliance.
Thus, in the interest of service, Memorandum Circular No. 2020-06, entitled “Amendment and Supplement to MC Nos. 2020-04 and 2020-05, Further Extending the Deadline for Submission of Required Reports and Annual Tax Incentives Reports of Cooperatives to the Authority Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic” is hereby amended to extend the deadline for submission of the required reports to July 31, 2020. Reports shall still be submitted through any of the means set forth under the said circular and must meet the conditions therein enumerated. However, as to the Annual Tax Incentives Reports (ATIR), there shall be no extension of the deadline for submission.
Memorandum Circular No. 2020-07, s-2020, entitled “Extension of Period of Validity of Certificate of Compliance (COC) issued for CY 2019,” is also hereby amended to extend the period of validity of COC issued for CY 2019 to July 31, 2020.
All concerned CDA Regional Offices must endeavor to inform and disseminate this Circular to cooperatives within their respective jurisdictions.
This Circular shall take effect immediately.
