For all cooperatives of Region 10 to be updated on important BIR issuances and regulations, CDA 10 held its 2nd e-forum for the year. Held on August 19, 2022 via Zoom, the topics discussed were the overview of Revenue Regulations 6-2022, which removes the Five (5) year validity period on receipts/invoices and a review on the requirements for the application of Certificate of Tax Exemption. The e-forum was graced by resource speakers from BIR RDO 098, Cagayan de Oro City, Ms. Almerah HC. Balindong, CPA, and Ms. Jeffani Girl E. Soronio, CPA.
With more than 300 participants in attendance, the e-forum was once again a success as it was a venue where numerous questions and issues relating to the above topics were clarified and answered by the resource persons. The Q & A portion was facilitated by Ms. Nafisah M. Dalidig, CPA also from BIR. With the commitment and promise to update cooperatives not only on CDA’s issuances and circulars, but also from other partner agencies such as the BIR, CDA 10 will continue to provide similar activities in due time.
