The Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) Region 10, in collaboration with the Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA), recently organized an enhancement training session on Parliamentary Procedure. This event, which took place on September 18, 2023, at Apple Tree Resort in Opol, Misamis Oriental, marked a remarkable step forward in ensuring the effective implementation of Republic Act 11524, also known as the “Coconut Farmers and Industry Trust Fund Act,” as well as advancing the Coconut Farmers Industry Development Plan (CFIDP).

The training session primarily focused on parliamentary procedures, equipping cooperative leaders with the necessary skills and understanding the proper way of handling cooperative meetings. The resource person was Mr. Edwin Pelosas, Senior CDS of Supervision and Examination Section of CDA 10, who shared his expertise on the various aspects of parliamentary procedures, including conducting meetings efficiently, electing officers, and creating and adopting agendas.
In conclusion, the Enhancement Training on Parliamentary Procedure held on September 18, 2023, signifies a significant step towards realizing the objectives of the Coconut Farmers and Industry Trust Fund Act and the Coconut Farmers Industry Development Plan.
