Forty-seven cooperatives (47) joined the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) Region 10 in the Electronic Cooperative Cliniquing Program (E-CoopCLiP) via Zoom Platform on June 20, 2024.
Ms. Marissa B. Catubig, Supervising CDS of CDA Region 10, warmly welcomed the participants and emphasized that CDA seeks effective delivery of services to the general public through digitization and digitalization of its processes. The platform of ECoopCLIP is one of the strategies of the Authority to reach and serve cooperatives and the public via virtual platforms.
Cooperatives with concerns related to the submission of Mandatory Reports and issuance of Certificate of Compliance (COC), as well as on matters related to registration of cooperatives particularly in the amendments of the Article of Cooperation and By-laws, establishment of branch and satellites and recognition of laboratory cooperative enthusiastically joined and raised their queries. Participants also expressed some of their issues and challenges in transacting with the online processes of CDA.
All in all, the virtual activity proved successful as the esteemed resource persons of CDA 10 addressed the matters at hand in real-time, thereby demonstrating online technical assistance or hand-holding as an advantage and is a step towards the right direction.
