Integrated White Copra and Coconut Oil Processing Facility Ground Breaking Ceremony

Ground-Breaking Ceremony attended by the different implementing agencies of CFIDP. City Mayor of Gingoog Erick G. Cañosa (2nd from the right), CDA Chairman Usec. Joseph B. Encabo (4th from the right), and Mayor Charlie B. Buhisan of Magsaysay, Misamis Oriental (3rd from the left) were also present.
The Philippine Center for Postharvest Development and Mechanization (PHilMech)in coordination with PCA-10, Local Government Units of Gingoog City and Magsaysay, Misamis Oriental and other government implementing agencies of the CFIDP, conducted a GroundBreaking andAwarding Ceremony for the two (2) Cooperative Beneficiaries of the Shared Processing Facilities (SPF), in Barangay Bonifacio Aquino, Magsaysay, Misamis Oriental, July 11, 2023.

 

The Alayon MPC, a medium-sized cooperative, will receive the Integrated White Copra and Coconut Oil Processing Facility, and be established on their property located in Magsaysay, Misamis Oriental and the Odiongan MPC, a micro cooperative, will also receive the White Copra Processing Central. Both cooperatives are from the City of Ginggog.

 

The activity was attended by the implementing agencies of CFIDP and no less than the Chairman of CDA Usec. Joseph B. Encabo attended the said event.

 

CDA-10 as a member of the Regional Technical Working Group(RTWG) was involved in the determination/identification and validation of qualified Coconut Farmers’ Coops to receive the Shared Processing Facility(SPF) provided by PHILMECH in their implementation of CFIDP 2023.
