With an overwhelming number of participants totaling 603 in online attendance, cooperative officers and members from all over Region 10 joined the Webinar on Parliamentary Procedure held on July 22, 2022 via Zoom. Ms. Marissa B. Catubig, Acting Supervising CDS of CDA 10, virtually welcomed the attendees from the various provinces of the region. Attorney III Maria Katrina Vi C. Plasos and Mr. Edwin B. Pelosas, Senior CDS for the Supervision and Examination Section, served as resource persons for the activity.
The Cooperative Research, Information, and Training Section (CRITS) of CDA 10 invited cooperative officers to attend the webinar as part of the cooperative enhancement seminars and as a venue for an orientation to new officers, members, and a review of existing ones. Atty. Plasos’ presentation focused primarily on the fundamental concepts, examples, and procedures for conducting meetings such as Board of Director (BOD) meetings and General Assembly Meetings. Mr. Pelosas facilitated the Question and Answer (Q&A) section, effectively answering questions raised by a number of participants and clarifying important points.
