The CDA accredited cooperative external auditors and training providers took oath of commitment administered by the CDA Board of Directors on April 7, 2021. The 30 Cooperative External Auditors (CEAs) and five (5) Training Providers whose applications were approved on March 18, 2021 were the first group to take oath before the CDA Board. Previously, the oath was administered by the CDA Regional Directors.
The Ceremony was attended by four (4) members of the CDA Board of Directors, namely: Asst. Secretaries Abdulsalam Guinomla, Myrla Paradillo, Vidal Villanueva and Virgilio Lazaga. Exec. Director Ray Elevazo was also in attendance.
ASec. Lazaga administered the Oath while the rest of the Board in attendance shared their messages to the participants.
The Board has one common message to the participants, particularly to the CEAs – they are partners of CDA and thus, they are expected to perform its audit with utmost integrity and they also play a very critical role in shaping the cooperatives towards good governance through objective audit.
