ADVISORY (09-16-2021)

All cooperatives who failed to inform the Authority of the postponement and re-scheduling or cancellation of their General Assembly (GA) meetings on or before the deadline set last August 31, 2021 are hereby given until September 20, 2021 to submit via e-mail the following:

A. For postponement and re-scheduling of GA meeting not later than September 30, 2021:

a) Letter signed by the Chairperson and/or the Chief Executive Officer/General Manager of the cooperative, together with a notarized board resolution, informing the Authority of its decision to postpone and reschedule the conduct of its annual GA meeting due to the restrictions imposed by the Government and stating therein the new date of GA meeting which shall not be later than September 30, 2021;

b) Proof of prohibition imposed by the local government units, if applicable.

c) Proof of due notice to its members on the postponement and rescheduling of its GA meeting, stating therein the reason(s) thereof.

B. For cancellation of the scheduled general assembly meeting:
a) Letter signed by the Chairperson and/or the Chief Executive Officer/General Manager of the cooperative, together with a notarized board resolution, informing the Authority of its decision to cancel the conduct of its annual GA meeting, and stating therein the reason(s) for the cancellation;

b) Proof of due notice to its members about the cancellation of its GA meeting, stating therein the reason(s) thereof.
