The CDA enhances the design of its website in compliance with Administrative Order No. 39 mandating all NGAs, GFIs, GOCCs, which aims to establish close inter-agency collaboration of their respective programs and projects. The said AO mandates government institutions to migrate their websites to Government Web Hosting Service (GWHS) of the Department Of Science and Technology-Information and Communications Technology Office (DOST-ICTO).
The DOST-ICTO on the other hand administers, operates and maintains the GWHS to ensure the government’s internet presence 24-hours a day, 7-days a week (24/7). It guarantees efficiency, integrity and reliability of the GWHS as hosts.
The government agencies are tasked to produce and regularly update the contents of their websites subject to Philippine Uniform Website Content Policy (UWCP), Section 3(a) of the said AO.
The Cooperative Development Authority’s website is now live with its new face complying AO 39 framework. It hopes to serve more online visitors, to promote transparency of all its activities and inform the public of its annual targets and accomplishments. The inclusion of “Transparency Seal” which is attuned to the provision on National Budget Circular 542, issued by the Department of Budget and Management on August 29, 2012 is placed in prominent position in the website –a proof of the CDA’s dynamic presence in the web.
The new website also highlighted the agency’s products and services to guide our stakeholders on the focus of our thrusts and priorities.
On top of the objectives of maintaining the CDA dynamic web presence, we likewise envision to have the website with transactional features by incorporating console for the public to submit, Cooperative Name Reservation Application On-line and ideally have their Annual Reports submitted on-line.
