The Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) joins the 1st co-organizers’ meeting of the Agrilink Foodlink and Aqualink upon invitation of the Foundation for Resource Linkage and Development, Inc. held on July 8, 2022, at Annabel’s Restaurant in Tomas Morato, Quezon City.
The in-person meeting, presided by convener President Antonio V. Roces aims to present updates and solicit suggestions, ideas, and comments on the preparation for the 27th year of the Agrilink exhibit, which will be held at the World Trade Center, Metro Manila on October 6-8, 2022.
Deputy Administrator Ray R. Elevazo of CDA’s Institutional Department Service discussed the areas where the agency would be able to help promote the event. DA Elevazo explained that if given the opportunity to participate during the exhibit via the usual booth provision, information material on CDA and its services will be highlighted. Additionally, social media page and website can be utilized to encourage cooperatives to participate in the event. The exhibit will be an opportunity for cooperatives not only to showcase their products and services, but also to link up with the supply and value chain in connection with agriculture, aquaculture and food. – Ricky Rebello
