CDA Official rally coop officers in asserting the nature and purpose of cooperatives. In a consultative meeting held at CDA conference Room on July 27, 2017, CDA Chairperson Orlando R. Ravanera, together with other CDA Officials, called upon coop officials to stand up and assert the purpose of cooperatives which among many, is instrument of social justice.
“The truth shall set us free” asserted Chairman Ravanera, as he called on the assembled coop officials to bring out and announce to one and all the success stories of their cooperatives. The success stories of your cooperatives will be our countervailing measures towards the negative reports and misinformation being circulated against cooperatives especially on the issue that cooperatives are being used as tax shield. “Cooperatives should assert and come out in the open through the mass media to address the misinformation being circulated against cooperatives”, Chairman Ravanera added.
