In celebration of the Cooperative Month and in conjunction with the 2014 Anniversary Celebration of the House of Representative, the House Committee on Cooperatives Development in coordination with the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA), Agap, Butil, COOP-NATCCO and I-CARE Party-lists, will hold series of activities for cooperatives from October 27 – 30, 2014 at the North Wing Lobby of the House of Representatives.
The Celebration with a theme “Kongreso Kaagapay ng kooperatiba Sa Pag-Asenso” will run through the following activities:

| October 28 | Micro Entrepreneurial Training |
| October 29 @ 2:00 PM | Symposium on Workers Cooperatives |
The primary objectives of this celebration are to make the public aware of the activities and programs of the CDA and of the stories of the successful cooperatives in the country; educate the public on the nature of workers cooperatives; and provide training on livelihood development.
Cooperatives are invited to visit the House of Representatives to take part in this important event for cooperatives.
