Interview of Chair Orlando Ravanera at DZMM on October 18, 2015 with host Louie Tabing in the program “Sa Kabukiran” where he emphasized the role of cooperatives in socio and economic development of the country citing the success stories of Oro Integrated Cooperative, FICCO and Maranding Cooperative through provision of employment and income opportunities to their members. Chair Ravanera likewise discussed that capacitating the members with financial management education and entrepreneurial skills provide opportunities for cooperatives to grow and prosper to enable them to achieve sustainable development goals.
