August 4, 2020 – The 5th segment of the Koops eForum was well attended by cooperative officers, members and partners as they were eager to once again listen to expert resource persons from the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), Ms. ELLEN JOYCE L. SUFICIENCIA, Director, Center for Learning and Inclusion Advocacy (CLIA)-Financial Inclusion Group (FIG); National Confederation of Cooperatives (NATCCO), Engr. SYLVIA O. PARAGUYA, Chief Executive Officer, and; the Philippine Federation of Credit Cooperatives (PFCCO)-Visayas League, Atty. GLORIA G. FUTALAN, Chairperson.
We also have cooperative officers and cooperative development office representative as reactors, namely: Mr. BRIAN JOSE R. ARNOS, Vice Chairperson, Stellar Multipurpose Cooperative, Tacloban City; Ms. LYN DEVEYRA PEREZ, Secretary, San Jose Sico Landfill Multipurpose Cooperative, Batangas City; MS. RIZA E. PANGANIBAN, Manager, Malalim Multipurpose Cooperative, Batangas City; Mr. FELIMON M. ESPARES, Chief Executive Officer, Barbaza Multipurpose Cooperative, Antique, and; Mr. JEREMIAS C. CAGUINGIN, Project Development Officer, Cooperative Development Division and Investment Promotion Unit, Provincial Cooperative and Enterprise Development Office (PCEDO)- Bulacan.
The resource persons provided comprehensive presentations and handled the questions aptly, while the reactors shared their questions and recommendations that may help in the improvement of such programs.
