NEW CDA ADMINISTRATOR TAKES OATH

The Cooperative Development Authority welcomed its new Administrator who took his oath of office at the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) head office. Administrator Santiago S. Lim was sworn in by DTI Secretary Alfredo E. Pascual yesterday, January 31, 2024 and the ceremony was witnessed by CDA Chairman, Usec. Joseph B. Encabo, CDA Board Member outgoing Acting Administrator, Asec. Myrla B. Paradillo, and Human Resources Development Division Chief Naomi J. Estabillo.

Admin. Lim who was appointed by President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. will head the Office of the Administrator (OFAD) which is responsible for administering and executing the policies, decisions, orders and resolutions approved by the CDA Board. He will also have general executive direction and supervision of the work and operation of the Authority as highlighted in Republic Act No. 11364 or the CDA Charter of 2019.

He replaced outgoing Acting Administrator, Asec. Myrla B. Paradillo who will still resume with her role as member of the CDA Board of Directors and head of the Public Utilities Cluster.

With Admin. Lim joining the officials in the CDA, the Authority remains steadfast in its mandate to ensure the viability and growth of cooperatives in the country.
