As we celebrate another year of service, growth, and milestones, I extend my profound congratulations and deepest gratitude to everyone who has been part of the Cooperative Development Authority’s journey as we celebrate the Authority’s 35th year of developing cooperatives as instruments of social justice and economic development.
This anniversary marks a momentous occasion, a testament to our shared commitment to the cooperative movement and the transformative power of collaboration. Since our establishment, we have worked together with unwavering dedication, to uplift lives and empower cooperative communities across the country.
Through your tireless efforts, we have seen cooperatives grow from humble beginnings to become vital instruments of economic development, social change, and nation building. The CDA’s role in providing support, guidance, and fostering an environment conducive to the growth of cooperatives has contributed to creating opportunities for millions of Filipinos, encompassing various sectors in our society, improving livelihoods, championing for best environmental stewardship, promoting peace, and strengthening our nation as a whole.
While we celebrate our successes, we are also keenly aware of the challenges that lie ahead. The rapidly changing global economy, technological innovations, and shifting socio-economic needs require us to remain adaptive, innovative and forward-thinking. Together, we will continue to ensure that cooperatives remain an essential part of building a more inclusive, sustainable, and resilient future for all.
To our cooperative members, lenders, partners, and supporters, thank you for your trust, commitment, and hard work. Your contributions and belief in the cooperative spirit make all that we have achieved possible. Together, we are creating lasting change and making a difference.
