Official reports reaching the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) show an increase in the number of extortion activities against cooperatives perpetrated by various individuals and groups representing themselves to be members of the outlawed New People’s Army (NPA).

NOTICE TO CDA’S VALUED CLIENTS
In view of the declaration of the President placing the National Capital Region under Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine to address the growing number of COVID 19 cases in the country, please be informed that the CDA Central Office will continue to generally operate on a Work- From- Home arrangement starting August 4- to August 18 or until further notice. The CDA’s skeletal workforce will attend to mostly administrative matters.

Please be advised that in view of the issuance of Presidential Proclamation No. 985 (s. 2020), declaring Friday, July 31, 2020, a regular holiday throughout the country, in observance of Eid’l Adha (Feast of Sacrifice), the deadline for submission to the Authority of required reports is moved to August 3, 2020, Monday.
