The CDA Region I Extension Office conducted the turn-over ceremony of the outgoing and incoming Regional Director of CDA Region I Extension Office Lenox Hotel, Dagupan City last November 7, 2022. The said event was attended by the CDA Chairman Usec. Joseph B. Encabo, Board Member III and Acting Administrator Asec. Myrla B. Paradillo, Asec. Vidal Villanueva, Asec. Abad Santos, and Asec. Abdulsalam Guinomla, who gave their full support to the incoming Regional Director Atty. Frederick Joe N. Robles. In their messages, they acknowledged the achievements of the outgoing Acting Regional Director Mr. Alberto A. Sabarias for maximizing his capacity and rendering his duties and responsibilities with excellence during his tenure at CDA Region Extension Office for almost a year. They also requested the CDA Region I Extension Office personnel to give their support and cooperation to the newly appointed Regional Director Atty. Frederick Joe N. Robles.
The outgoing Acting Regional Director Mr. Alberto A. Sabarias, handed the CDA Region I Extension Banner, passed the Key of Responsibilities, Work and Financial Plan and other vital reports to incoming newly appointed Director III Atty. Frederick Joe N. Robles, which these instruments represent the office and symbolize the formal acceptance of administrative duties and responsibilities under Atty. Robles’s new management toward the region’s commitment to public service, integrity, and excellence.
Mr. Sabarias, in his message, expressed his great honor and privilege to be the Acting Regional Director of CDA Region I Extension office from December 13, 2021 to October 31, 2022, surrounded by very dedicated and hardworking individuals who he can call into action at the drop of a hat. Further, he expressed his gratitude to the CDA management for the continued confidence, trust and guidance they had placed in him especially now that he is embarking on a new journey. He concluded his message saying that he is positive and confident that the CDA Region I Extension Office under Atty. Robles’ leadership will accomplish everything that he has envisioned and may even surpass what the office has achieved under his watch.
Likewise, Regional Director Atty. Robles formally accepted the key of responsibilities to lead the CDA Region I Extension Office and took his Oath in the presence of the CDA Chairman Usec. Joseph B. Encabo. In his message, he explained his kind of leadership is more on personnel empowerment. He also highlighted the importance of integrity as one of the values that every personnel should possess. He ended his message by looking forward to the challenges to be faced and camaraderie among personnel of the CDA RI Extension Office to achieve every task, target and program for the betterment of the cooperative sector in Region 1.
Finally, to witness the turnover and installation of the new Regional Director, in attendance on the said event were DA Atty. Mona Liza Arriba-Juarez, HRDD Chief Naomi J. Estabillo, Acting Director II of CSF and concurrent Chief of Finance Jojo Hallazgo, Regional Director of CDA-CAR Marietta P. Hwang, Regional Director of Region II Extension Office Atty. Franco Bawang. Also present in the ceremony were some of the cluster presidents in region I, some personnel from Head Office and other extension offices and the CDA Region I Extension Office.
